Amega Global has made a commitment to help with the Japan Relief Effort for the next 90 days. To honor this important commitment, Amega Global is setting up a program for BA's around the world to donate funds for assistance. The program is called JETRE - Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Effort.
You, too, can help support JETRE's efforts in other ways. Below is a list of items we are also looking for:*
Staple Foods - Instant noodles (chicken, beef, stew, curry, etc.), instant rice and soups
Medicine - Antiseptics, bandages, eye-drops, analgesics and hand sanitizers, as well as, over-the-counter medicines for cold, flu, stomach issues and diarrhea
Underwear & Socks - Men, women and children
Towels
At this moment, even something as simple and basic as the items listed above can make a difference in the survival of a man, woman or child in the affected areas.
So the next time you go get groceries or drive by a department or convenience store, take a few minutes to pick up a few items to share with our Japanese family. We will collect these items and ship them each week to colleagues in Japan who will properly distribute them to those in need.
